The Birth of Ben

As you are probably all aware by now, well, those who are family and who read my other blog (http://babyblog.sgtworld.com) will know that I am now a proud Dad to a little boy called ‘Ben.’  He was born on the 1st October at 19:09 and weighed in at 7lb 4oz, with blue eyes and dark hair.  He is very cute indeed.

To see pictures of him, go over to the Babyblog.  The link can be found above and in the blog menu on the right. 😉

Royal Cornwall Show

Hi all!

Just thought that I would report in after spending a day at the Royal Cornwall Show, where it was boiling hot at times in the Sun.  In fact, I have quite bad sunburn on my forehead and neck!!

We got there at about 830am and got into a car park without any problems whatsoever, and left just before 4pm.  Shattered at this point as we were non-stop walking around the showground.  We visited nearly all the stalls including the flower show, animals, craft shops and, of course, the beer tent!!  Also had some lovely Pork, which was very tasty.

There weren’t any favourite stalls or shows, although I did enjoy the flower tent and hopefully got some good photos from it.  I also enjoyed the tent where you could have tasters of food and drink, especially a curry taster and a cider taster.

Also nearly had a disaster when looking around the pig enclosure, as two piglets staged a break out just as I was walking past.  Don’t know how, but they managed to get the door open and tried to make a bid for freedom, but luckily, the owners were nearby and managed to force them back in after a struggle.

By the time we left, we were all shattered and my legs and hips were starting to seize up, and Kelly’s back was hurting a fare bit.  But it was a good experience and well worth the visit!!

Snooker with the lads!

If any of you see this, thanks for a great night last night!

Met up with Mark, James and Troggy for a game of snooker at Riley.s in Plymouth.  Had a bit of a chin-wag and we realised we were getting old when we started talking about houses and mortgages!  So that stopped straight away!  Troggy and Mark beat James and myself 2-1, although the final frame was pants as none of us could pot a ball and James managed to miss the ball he was aiming at in 3 consecutive attempts (and I mean miss the ball completely, i.e. not hit it!) 😉

Looking forward to the next gathering!

Iron Man

hi all! Haven’t posted on here for a while so I thought that I would give you an update of what I have been up to recently…..

….let’s see….

….went out for dinner last Saturday to Frankie and Benny’s at the Barbican Leisure Park and the food was lovely.  Had some sort of chicken thing with chips and spaghetti which was very nice! We then went to watch Iron Man in the cinema.  Good film but the second one should be a bit better as all the characters have been introduced now.  After the film we went over to Darren’s flat for tea and had a game of poker.  Im sorry to report that Darren won after some lucky hands (as usual!) and I ended up going out in a blaze of glory, trying to win the game. Oh well!

Have also been working on my photography website, which I hope to have finished in a couple of weeks.  On the site you will find a library of my photographs which you will be able to purchase through PayPal.  Its looking quite good at the moment, and I think it is going to be the best designed site that I have done so far, so fingers crossed it will drum up a bit of business!

Adios for now!

Galleries and Ankle

Hi all!

I have added 3 new pages to the site (found on the right) that hold 3 galleries. These photo’s have been taken from my old SGT World site and dumped here for now. I am hoping to put some more galleries up soon, but have a huge database of photo’s to dig through to decide what to put on here.

On another note, I have found that I don’t have any broken or floating bones in my ankle, so that is a relief.  I still have to go back to the doctor in a couple of weeks time, as we still need to figure out where the pain is coming from.  Im now hoping that it just needed rest, and will be good as new within a few weeks.

Adios!
